CMAR PI’s lead Stable Isotope Tracer Mass Spectrometry Special Interest Group

The British Mass Spectrometry Society (BMSS) has announced the launch of the SIG to bridge the gap between the application and analytics of stable isotope tracers. This initiative aims to provide researchers with the necessary knowledge and training to effectively utilize stable isotope tracers in their projects.

BBSRC Grant Success

Dr Beth Phillips, Assistant Professor in Clinical, Metabolic & Molecular Physiology at the University of Nottingham Royal Derby Hospital Centre has been awarded a BBSRC New Investigator Grant ‘Harnessing muscle-specific atrophy susceptibility to disentangle the mechanisms of disuse atrophy in human skeletal muscle’

Nima Gharahdaghi, University of Nottingham, wins poster prize at the 10th Annual Congress of the Sarcopenia, Cachexia and Wasting Disorders Society

Nima Gharahdaghi an international PhD student funded by the Vice Chancellor’s scholarship, at the University of Nottingham won 1st poster prize at the 10th Annual Congress of the Sarcopenia, Cachexia and Wasting Disorders Society held in Rome held on 8-10 December 2017.
