Management Board

The management board is made up of the Centre Directors and research theme leads as well as the leads for training and public and patient engagement.

Principal Investigators

We have approximately 45 Centre members (principal investigators or PIs) from both the University of Birmingham and the University of Nottingham.

PhD Students

The Centre funds a number of PhD students across both sites.

Scientific Advisory Board

CMAR has an international Scientific Advisory Board that is responsible for independent scientific review and includes academic and industry representatives that collectively possess expertise and skills covering the range of interests of the Centre.

Become a Member!

We seek those who have an active research interest and excellent track record in musculoskeletal ageing, frailty or musculoskeletal disease research that is clearly aligned to the Centre’s mission. Researchers interested in repositioning their work towards the Centre’s programme will also be considered.
