Funded by the Kennedy Trust, the MB-PhD programme will be hosted by the University of Birmingham’s College of Medical and Dental Sciences and support three intercalating students a year for five years in areas of research relevant to musculoskeletal and other inflammatory diseases.
We are now accepting applications from enthusiastic and highly motivated individuals for 10 PhD studentships funded through the MRC-ARUK Centre for Musculoskeletal Ageing. These are fully funded 3-year studentships, beginning on 1st of October 2018.

The Young Life Scientists’ Symposium, an annual scientific conference, is organised by young life scientists, for young life scientists, and is an opportunity for scientists to showcase their work via oral and poster presentations, attend specialised workshops, and network in a positive and constructive environment. This year the symposium was organised by CMAR PhD students Jessica Cegielski, Colleen Deane, Joe Bass and Amelia Pollard.
