We are delighted to be able to announce that Professor Chris Buckley has been awarded the 2020 Carol Nachman prize in Rheumatology jointly with his colleague Dirk Elewaut in Belgium.
This is the highest international honour a Rheumatologist can be given and Chris is only the 6th UK Rheumatologist to have been awarded this since the Prize was established in 1972. This is a tremendous accolade for Chris and reflects his remarkable contributions to rheumatology over may years that span basic discovery science through to translational work and the testing of new therapies.
