Move It or Lose it want to encourage the over 70s to do the 30 seconds sit-to-stand challenge, then submit, track and improve their scores. Families can encourage their older relatives to take on the challenge throughout lockdown and beyond. From the thousands of people who have done this in Move It or Lose It classes, we know what a huge difference it can make to leg strength and mobility. Hopefully, this will go some way to preventing sarcopenia and the onward costs associated with this for both the individual and the NHS.
