Musculoskeletal disorders | Versus Arthritis
When and where: Monday 24 February 2025 10.00am – 4.00pm Face to Face in Birmingham
Aim: To support early and mid-career researchers interested in MSK Disorders, Management and treatment of septic arthritis, Musculoskeletal injuries caused by acute traumatic events) with the development of their career plans and knowledge, confidence and skills in a range of topics including how to collaborate with patients and members of the public.
Content: Mix of talks, round table discussion, panel Q and A and workshops.
Topics: how Versus Arthritis can support you; how to involve and engage patients and the public in your research; how to design equitable research; available support, career and funding pathways; how to write small grants; research operational support including costing and many other topics.
Opportunities: to present research and patient involvement ideas and win prizes.

The event is free to attend. Travel expenses will not be routinely reimbursed and we encourage applicants to seek their own funding for travel. However, we do not wish travel costs to be a barrier to attendance and there is a limited budget for travel assistance which can be applied for.
