Professor Janet Lord, Director of the Centre for Musculoskeletal Ageing Research appeared on the BBC’s How to Stay Young programme on Thursday 7th April at 9 pm, offering her expertise on the ‘Sit to Rise’ test, an easy-to-administer test, measuring flexibility and strength in older people. Clips from the show, which was presented by Angela Rippon, have been wide-reaching and featured on a number of other programmes including The One Show (Thursday 7th of April), BBC Woman’s Hour (listen at http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/b075mdvm), and in the Guardian.
