As one of the commissioners for the ‘Healthy Ageing in the 21st century Commission Report’, Centre Director Professor Janet Lord helped to field questions from Members of Parliament at the report launch in the House of Commons.
The report explores key questions around healthy ageing as well as considering how positive health and different expectations for “flourishing” in later life can be promoted. It is hoped that the report will contribute towards raising the voice and profile of older people. The full report together with summaries and background material can be found here.
